For two years, I worked as the Social Media Manager for Unwritten. In the time that I was managing, the number of Facebook likes improved by 24k and is currently at its all-time-high of 32k likes.
Courtney Rae Smith and I oversaw a team of four other consultants who were each assigned to a platform and performed bi-monthly progress reports of the engagements through Google analytics. I devised a system for scheduling Facebook captions in which every morning, each of the consultants contributed caption ideas and voted on their favorite. Courtney and I were also in charge of training the consultants to utilize a social media voice that was on brand with the Unwritten woman. Additionally, we worked on cross-promotions with other publications and email campaigns to a list of subscribers. Below is an example of one email campaign that Elaina Arsham, one of our consultants, and I curated using our three most relevant/successful articles from that month and sent via Moosend.
